Kevin Bennington
Food & Beverage / Lodge Manager
Kevin was born in London, England and attended Brighton Polytechnic College. He gained England's Higher National Diploma in Hotel Catering Administration and was a member of Hotel and Catering Institute of Managers. He trained in London at the Grovenor House Hotel and in Brighton in the Old Ship Hotel.

He moved to Canada in 1975 and managed various restaurants in Toronto including the Old Fish Market and Ginsberg and Wong. He opened Bennington's Fine Dining in Thornbury in 1984 and sold the business in 1989.

Kevin then took a break from the restaurant business and sold real estate until 1996 when he started at The Georgian Peaks Club as the Food & Beverage and Lodge managers. He considers this one of the most challenging and exciting positions he has ever held.

Kevin is married to Cathy and they have two children, Kyle and Courtney.

Kevin and his wife, Catherine, own and operate the Beaver and Bulldog Sports Pub and Wingery in Collingwood, a great place to visit.

In the summer season, Kevin is the General Manager at the Ojibway Club at Pointe au Baril where several Peaks members have memberships.
