Marg was born and raised in the Beaver Valley area. She attended Sheridan College in Oakville and obtained her Executive Secretarial Diploma.

Marg started early in the ski industry at age 14 working for Blue Mountain Resorts. She started as a kitchen helper, dishwasher and then held such duties as a food line server and cashier. During the summer months she worked as a chambermaid and waitress at the Blue Mountain Inn.

Other career opportunities included two summers working as an office assistant to the Clerk, Treasurer and Building Inspector for the Township of Collingwood. Marg started with London Life in January, 1977 as a General Sales Administrative Assistant and was promoted to Office Manager in September of 1980, a position she held until September 1990. At that time, Marg and her husband Chris, decided to move back to the Beaver Valley area to raise their children, Megan and Melissa.

Marg started working for The Georgian Peaks Club on a seasonal basis in 1991 working as a ticket seller and in the Member & Guest Services office. She worked for the Miller Group of Companies during the summer months. In 1995 a full-time opportunity became available with the Miller Company and Marg worked for them full time as a Contract Administrator until 1998 when she was asked to come back to the Peaks on a full time basis to look after the Member & Guest Services area. Marg enjoys her position at the Club and looks forward to her interaction with the members, their families and guests.
