So no matter your level of play, you are sure to find an appropriate opponent. The posted ladder will assist in that, or one of the team captains may be of service. Ladies and Men's nights are a great way to meet new players or one of the scheduled round robins. Clinics and lessons are available to improve your skills. The courts are available daily, the Clubhouse is open daily in July and August and weekends for the balance of the season.
Children's Camps During the summer we offer a wide range of day camps. It is not necessary to be a Georgian Peaks Member or a Summer Club member to register your child in a camp program. All camps are tennis-based with a wide range of additional activities to interest most children. All camps include tennis instruction and play, swimming supervised by our lifeguard, healthy snacks, and lunch. Children must have their own tennis racquets if possible.

Monday morning starts with all of the necessary paperwork and getting organized with "getting to know you" games and activities. We also have swim tests done by the Lifeguard to ensure safety in the pool and if there are any restrictions that should be adhered to...like wearing a lifejacket. Our Lifeguard is on deck whenever the Campers are in the pool enclosure and all of the Camp Staff are first aid trained. Each week consists of a special theme related activities and a rotation of activities on a daily basis. Generally this is done in 45 minute intervals through swimming, tennis games to increase co-ordination and specific activities related to the week's theme. Our Camps are also different from others in the area as they include a "healthy" breakfast style snack mid-morning, a buffet lunch and a "treat" snack in the afternoon. All of our cooking based camps include a creation daily to share at home and a "restaurant" at the end of the week which the family is invited to. Please check the Events Calendar for specific field trips for each Camp. We ask that upon registration you advise us of any dietary or special requirements for your child. Nursery and Childcare
The Georgian Peaks Nursery is a bright cheery place in the West Lodge. The playroom is filled with toys, books and games, including two computers. The Craft room has a cupboard filled with an array of supplies to spark any imagination. We maintain low child-to-caregiver ratios and provide healthy snacks. Children are taken outside to play on the play structure and with a lifeguard on duty they can splash in the pool. In order to maintain our ratios we ask that all services be booked in advance. Flat fees are available for week long programs in conjunction with camps.
Swim lessons
Our staff offers private swim lessons from Aqua Splash to Aqua Quest level twelve. The rates are reasonable and the results are amazing. Contact the Summer Manager at jeanlewisknight@sympatico.ca to organize private lessons.
Social Events
The season starts on the May long weekend with a round robin. Throughout the summer there are tennis activities for all levels, culminating in the Club Championships. So check the Events Calendar for more information. Social Events change a little each year, but there are two Adult Only events, which could be anything from a Toga Party to a Castaway Beach Party, a Family Event and the end of season Family Day. Check the events calendar and book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
 Food and Beverage Service
We offer simple fare from the barbeque, served indoors or on the deck. Our Bar is well stocked. The freezer is full of treats and there are always special snacks for the kids. Our friendly staff can't wait to serve you!
