EVENT: Super G (2 Races) A.M. Run - Team Event, P.M. Run - Individual Event
 
LOCATION: The Georgian Peaks Club - Top to Bottom of MINUTE MILE
 
ENTRY:
Race fee $400 per Team plus lift ticket ($30) - exchange tickets not permitted.       

Team = four (4) racers 19 years of age or older, minimum one female per Team.            
Individual entries = $100, individual entries will be placed on a Team where possible.

DEADLINE: All registrations must be received prior to Friday February 28th, 2020.

**Due to costs associated with this event, the ROC and the Georgian Peaks Club have determined that a minimum of 100 racers are needed to host this event.

**If registrations are below 100 at the registration deadline, the event will be cancelled

 
WAIVERS
: All race participants must sign a Georgian Peaks Special Events Waiver - may be downloaded from The Georgian Peaks site at www.georgianpeaks.com.
 
OTHER:  Registered Masters racers may be awarded World Cup points that will be provided separately after the competition by Canadian Alpine Masters or AOA.
 
TEAM AWARDS: Fastest Overall Team, Fastest Team Total Age 160-200, Fastest Team Total Age 200+, Fastest Team Total Age 225+
 
INDIVIDUAL AWARDS: Top three (3) males and females overall, top three (3) males and females by five (5) year age categories (under 30, 35-39....80+) and other "unique" awards.

RACE SCHEDULE:
                8:00am – Registration and bib pick up, Locker Room Café, Downstairs Main Lodge
                8:30am – Racer Safety Briefing, Locker Room Café, Downstairs Main Lodge
                9:00am – Minute Mile & Rogers Chair Opens
                9:15-9:45am – Course Inspection, Minute Mile (please inspect outside course gates)
                10:00am – 1st Racer, 1st Run *2nd Run will be immediately following the end of the 1st
                Awards & Draws – 30 min. after the 2nd run, upstairs in the Main Lodge
 
IMPORTANT –

  • The ROC has authorized an EXTRA BEER TICKET to those who assist in gate and netting tear down after race. A little effort goes a long way. Pick up your beer ticket in the finish area after you help race crew! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
  • The course will be closed after inspection and any movement on the hill will result is disqualification without refund. This will be strictly enforced. Inspection may be outside the gates to ensure snow quality after fertilization.
  • Hard eared helmets mandatory. FIS Approved recommended
  • Yellow flags will be used to stop racers in course where necessary. If flagged, proceed out of course to lift and return to the start for a re-run
  • If you fall and lost forward momentum, you must abandon the course and proceed to the bottom, outside of the course
  • NO high-speed skiing on race hill
  • ACA and GP Special Events waiver required before the race
